 We are writing to tell you what a fantastic wedding reception we had at the hotel on Saturday 5th March. From the moment we arrived on the Friday evening to meet with family we were treated with outstanding service from all the staff that we encountered. We were made to feel very special, as if we were the only wedding party to ever be there. We were absoultly thrilled with the way the Ballroom looked and we greatly appriciated all the effort that was put into making it look so stunning. We have to say a special thank to Kurt and Keith for their undivided attention towards us and for the smooth running order of the day, these two are an absolute credit to the hotel and we can’t speak highly enough of the both of them! I wanted to say a massive thank you to you and all the staff. We will send a proper thank you card when we get them printed but I wanted to extend my thanks on this mail also. The whole day was absolutely perfect and everyone has raved about it. You made our special day extra special and we can’t thank you enough for that. You all worked so hard and special thanks goes to you and the wonderful Keith. I just wish we could do it all again as it all went by so quickly.

I decided to celebrate my birthday (I won’t mention which one!) last Saturday by inviting family and close friends to join me for dinner, which I booked in your elegant Adams Room. All the preparations were planned and co-ordinated with Ashlea who was absolutely wonderful throughout-patient, understanding and with gentle advice which proved to be perfect. My only concern was that it was all going to be a bit ‘formal’ and posh …….

 How wrong could I be! We started the evening with drinks in the bar from which time Keith gently took over proceedings and the whole evening was just perfect. The whole atmosphere created was so welcoming, warm, friendly whilst being totally professional. The service and overall personal touch which was orchestrated by Keith was outstanding. Everything seemed to flow so easily, the food was delicious, drinks were always replenished, nothing was too much trouble and every detail was so thoughtfully carried out-including the arrival of my cake (and then cutting and bringing it round with coffee). 

My particular thanks to Ashlea and Keith-you have two outstanding and very loyal employees, and thanks to you for sharing your wonderful ‘home’ with me and my family-becuase that’s how we felt.

During the night of Sunday 6th February, my fiancee and I were evacuated from our home by the fire service due to an electrical fire. I spent almost an hour calling numerous, local hotels to try and find emergency accommodation for us and our 2 small dogs. I was met with various, unhelpful responses. However, from the moment I called Rowton Hall I was given excellent help and customer service. Unfortunately, we didn’t catch the staff members name but hope he receives this thanks. Not only did stay late to wait for our arrival but he was brilliantly sympathetic regarding our situation and his service was second to none.

We will definitely be returning to Rowton Hall (hopefully under better circumstances!) again, HUGE thanks to the gentleman who served us that evening!

The party night was excellent, food and company was good. The service, as always, to a high standard. We do take advantage of the members offer and have dinner in the restaurant occasionally and we have always enjoyed the food. It was a pity there weren’t more members there, however the other parties were friendly and didn’t feel out of place.

Last week we spent our silver wedding anniversary at your hotel (31st August). We just wanted to say a big thank you. It was the nicest hotel we have ever stayed in. This is for a number of reasons. It was luxurous yet had that “family run” friendly atmosphere. The staff where friendly and attentive. The hotel was very clean and well equipped. The food was superb. And we were thrilled to have a complimentary upgrade to the Fairfax Suite. We wished we lived nearer by so we cuold visit often.

In this day and age people are only too quick to comlpain, so we felt we should let you know what a great time we had. Thank you all.

As Clare’s mum I would like to say thank you so very much for making Clare and Niall’s wedding day so perfect. The weather was great and your wonderful hotel sparkled in the sunshine.

The wedding reception room was beautiful. The meal was great (although as I was rather nervous before my speech so I did not get to eat all of the meal).

The bedrooms were lovely – each one different and individual with everything that you needed.

A special thank you has to go to Ashley for her patience, calm demeanour and good humour throughtout the lead up to the wedding. Also to Keith for his magnificient organisational skills on the day and for his support prior to me giving my speech which was a bit nerve racking.

Thank you to Tony and all the staff who were courteous, helpful and attentive.

All in all Saturday was the most marvellous day and Rowton played a big part in this and we will all be left with very happy memories.
