Heswall Golf Club

Heswall Golf Club is an attractive undulating parkland course on the Wirral Peninsula by the banks of Dee Estuary with views to the Welsh Hills. The course which has recently been extended, presents a variety of challenges for short and long handicap players. Heswall was the venue for the Junior Open in 2006 and also for the North of England Under 16s Championships in 2006, 2007, 2008 and again in 2009.  The club was also host to the EWGA Northern Counties Match week in June 2009.

All visitors are expected to have a current and valid handicap. Handicap certificates may be required when registering.

The course lies on gently sloping land with spectacular views over the Dee Estuary and the Welsh Hills. The broad sweep takes in the suspension bridge near Connah’s Quay, the Clwyd range including Moel Famau, Point of Ayr and Hilbre Islands.
